On May 23, employment practitioners from DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society in Surrey shared their experience working with refugee job seekers.

Refugees face unique challenges in their search for work once resettled. They sometimes face barriers such as lack of affordable housing, physical and mental health issues, lack of “official” language proficiency, non-recognition of foreign credentials and systemic discrimination.
