A Summary of the Community Consultations Conducted in Various Locations across BC – What We Heard

The BC Centre for Employment Excellence organized a series of community consultations with service providers and practitioners in the employment services sector between November and February 2013.

The primary purpose of the consultations was two-fold:

1. Introduce the BC Centre for Employment Excellence, its mission and business functions; and

2. Engage and seek input from service providers and practitioners on the types of information, resources and tools they would like to see available from the Centre.

Consultation participants provided input to the Centre in four key areas:

  • Knowledge
  • Technical Assistance and Training
  • Community of Practice
  • Innovations
