This free learning event will introduce EASIEST – Easier Access to Settlement, Integration, Employment and Skills Training. EASIEST is a new and exciting project that will bring together Immigrant Serving Organizations in British Columbia to develop innovative, low-cost solutions that make their services easier to access by placing the newcomer experience at the centre of service design.
To set the stage for EASIEST, we have invited speakers from organizations that have implemented initiatives which also involve user-centric design methods and behavioural insights to make improvements to programs and services.
Our panel of presenters joining us are: MDRC in New York City and the BC Government Service Design Team in Victoria. They will share their experiences of implementing novel, client-centered approaches to redesign services. The Biz Hub project team will also be on hand to share practical lessons for program improvements from its three year Research and Innovation project.
Whether you are a practitioner, a policy maker or simply interested in building your capacity to identify evidence-based service innovations, we hope you can join us for this interactive forum.
