New research study: Environmental scan of the BC employment services sector

The BC Centre for Employment Excellence has commissioned John Coward to undertake an environmental scan of the BC employment services sector. The scope of the research includes the complete range of programs, services, and support measures available to unemployed and underemployed adult job seekers across the province.

This research will provide important insights into current service provision in BC for both career practitioners and policy makers, and will support the Centre’s efforts to develop its Knowledge Clearinghouse. The project results will be presented at the BC Career Development Association’s annual conference in March 2013, and the final report will be posted on the Centre’s website.

Over the coming weeks, Mr. Coward will be connecting with the employment services sector through email and social media outlets to ensure that his scan is as complete as possible. Your contribution is essential to making this study a success.

Please forward any suggestions of employment programs or services to be included in the scan to . For queries about this project or other research activities being undertaken by the BC Centre for Employment Excellence, please contact , the Centre’s Research Coordinator.
