The HeretoHelp website provides individuals, family members, front-line professionals, and school/campus professionals with the information, resources, and tools they need to help those around them take charge of their mental health and help them live a healthier life.
The website includes personal stories from individuals who have had to manage their mental illness, suffered through anxiety disorders or substance abuse, and sought help. The site also provides a number of self-help resources and contacts for those seeking help.
The website was produced by the BC Partners for Mental Health and Addictions Information, which is a group of seven leading provincial mental health and addictions non-profit agencies: AnxietyBC, BC Schizophrenia Society, Centre for Addictions Research of BC, Canadian Mental Health Association’s BC Division, FORCE Society for Kids’ Mental Health, Family Services of the North Shore’s Jessie’s Legacy Program and Mood Disorders Association of BC.
Career practitioners will find this website useful when dealing with clients who are suffering from mental health issues or who require assistance to tackle addiction.
