In Part I of our three-part series on Understanding Current Employment Programming and Services for BC Youth, we were pleased to welcome Tom Zizys as well as Sarah Amyot and Kristi Fairholm Mader of Community Social Planning Council (CSPC).
In the first part of the webinar, Tom presented his Study of Demand-Led Labour Market Strategies to Improve Employment Outcomes for British Columbia Youth. Sarah and Kristi followed with Pathways to Success for Youth in BC’s Capital Region: The Power and Potential of Social Enterprise in High Demand Sectors.
Many thanks to our guest presenters for sharing their research us. It was quite a lot of information to pack into just 60 minutes! Based on the number questions and comments that came in for both studies, there was a high level of audience engagement; thanks to all participants for joining us.
A copy of Tom’s slides can be found here while the CSPC presentation slides can be accessed here. See below for the full webinar recording and don’t forget to sign up for Parts II and III of the webinar series here.
