Our final webinar of the three-part series on Understanding Current Employment Programming and Services for BC Youth featured a presentation by YMCA of Greater Vancouver.
The third webinar in our youth series explores first-hand experiences of youth living with mental illness (YLMI) as well as the perspectives of career development practitioners and employers who have experience supporting and employing YLMIs.
Dan and Isabelle presented highlights of their research study, which aims to identify whether youth living with mental illness, those who provide them with services, and those who employ them, have a common understanding of the barriers to employment that come with mental illness in young job seekers.

Thank you to Dan, Isabelle and all of the presenters who were part of this three-part series for sharing your research on youth employment issues in BC. And of course, thanks to all you for taking the time to learn about the research and helping us to disseminate it.
